He was a great example of discipline and leadership.

Sorry to hear about Tom Moore, he went to the same church in NKC that I did for a while. Tom was also married to my 7th and 8th grade teacher Mary Moore she taught school at Englewood School..had two teachers Mrs Moore and Mrs Piburn for those grades.   Very nice and good people.

Tom was a real character.  He used to kid me because he had my dad in one of his classes when he started at NKC.  Sadly I did not match up to my dad's math skills.

Not sure why these comments are just now coming up.  I loved Mr. Moore.  Serious encourager.  Brought in professors and former students.  Constantly threatened we'd end up working at KATZ.

One day I was walking my girlfriend to her class past Mr. Moore’s classroom. He was standing in the door way as he often did before class. She was wearing one of those angel blouses that sort of look like a maternity top. I returned to his class and as I walked past him he said; “Bill, if my girl was wearing a blouse like that, I’d be worried”. He had a sharp witted sense of humor as well as being a patient and dedicated teacher.
