Wayne was one smart guy and went on to get a PhD in physics and work at Bell Labs which is no small feat. He always set the curve in Mr. Moore's algebra class. - Hal Swindell
Last time I saw Wayne was for a drink at the observation deck atop Sandia Peak in Albuquerque, N.M. He was working for Los Alamos Labs at the time. He seemed really happy. Bell Labs and LANL…..pretty impressive work resume.
Wayne sat next to me in history class where we discussed astrophysics under our breath during class. We enjoyed photography and were in the Astronomy Club together.
